Beanstalk is a self-watering vertical garden to grow your own fruits and vegetables made to save space and the environment. This project is a conceptualization of an original product and brand.
The Strategy:
- Create a product that allows fresh produce to be grown in urban spaces, especially along walls
- Support healthy lifestyles by being able to conveniently grow produce
- Promote a sense of community through being able to use the product for community gardens
- Provide a method of urban agriculture that can be beneficial to the environment and to the health and wellbeing of community members
The Brand:
Beanstalk

(noun) The stem of a bean plant, proverbially fast growing and tall.

- Product will be reminiscent of the way a beanstalk grows vertically
- Friendly as it can reference the children’s story Jack and the Beanstalk
The Values:
Beanstalk values education, leadership, sustainability, accessibility, and collaboration. They believe everyone should have the knowledge and access to grow fresh, nutritious foods.
The product is made of recycled plastics as a part of their sustainability efforts with 10% of proceeds going towards providing schools and communities accross the US with their own community gardens
